The Wayfarer is crafted from premium full-grain European pebbled leather, produced in our own certified tannery. The natural pebbled grain gives a refined, textured surface that handles everyday marks well, while the structured leather helps the bag retain its clean, upright silhouette. Nothing is sanded or buffed away—this is leather selected for how it performs and ages over years of daily carry and travel.
Responsible Tanning
Our leather is LWG Gold Certified. We use a low-chrome tanning process that reduces chromium usage by approximately 50% while maintaining the leather's softness, colour depth and long-term durability. Up to 98% of water is recycled at the tannery level.
Safe and Tested Chemicals for Finishing
Hides are finished with carefully selected oils and waxes—never heavy synthetic topcoats. All finishing chemicals meet strict environmental and safety standards, with water-based dyes and treatments used wherever possible. This allows the leather to breathe, develop a rich patina over time and mould to your daily carry.
Tested and Compliant
Our leather is produced with ZDHC Level 3 certified chemicals and independently tested for safety—meeting the strict thresholds set for products intended even for children. It complies with European and American regulatory norms, demanding German safety standards and the compliance requirements followed by leading global footwear and fashion brands.
Built to Age, Not Expire
Real leather gets better with use. The oils from your hands, daily friction and light exposure gradually deepen its colour and sheen, creating a finish unique to you. Unlike PU or PVC synthetics that crack and peel, genuine leather softens, personalises and lasts for years.
